The Apostle Paul is probably one of the most influential individuals in the Scriptures. He is responsible for the penning the majority of the New Testament Scriptures. Paul used a variety of teaching styles, but one of the interesting things he did was take an aspect of the culture he was in, and then use it to point people back to Christ. Here at Geeks Under Grace, we have taken on this model in a very specific way. We regularly take some of your favorite blockbuster films and write Bible Studies using themes and ideas we found in the films! The idea is that you can gather your mates, go see a film, then gather afterwards at your favorite café, restaurant, or living room and do a Bible Study!
As of the writing of this article, we are preparing for Marvel’s “Venom” to come out! We are very excited about it, and we are excited about creating a Bible Study based off of it. While preparing for this, we had a revelation: we have done a LOT of Bible Studies based off of Marvel films! We thought we’d take a moment and highlight those Bible Studies so that you guys can do a series of MARVEL-ous Bible Studies.
