I am ashamed to be partially connected to Pat Robertson because I attend Liberty University, founded by Jerry Falwell Sr., with whom he was extremely good friends with. Why do bad things happen to good people? Well, that happened only once, and He volunteered. Jesus is the only true good person to have ever walked on this earth, and He humbled Himself to be humiliated by experiencing literal excruciating pain on the cross. So why do bad things happen? because we sin. Every last one of us, and no one is without excuse. Jesus did not promise prosperity for being a Christian on earth, but promised eternal glory in Heaven. I could go into further detail, but I don’t have the time.
