@GrahamStorm, you are miss-quoting him. he said “some” of those kids haven’t celebrated Christmas before which is legitimate because some the refugees in the middle east are Christians, and i am sure at least some of them celebrate Christmas. The question I would be asking instead is- do Middle Eastern Christians give presents at Christmas? also, where did you get the idea he is donating the presents? To mix some “honey with that vinegar,” it’s wonderful to read comments from people who are actually informed on Islam- and much more so than I am. Thank you for taking the time to do that.

Operation Christmas is donating the presents. Sorry for the confusion in putting that he was donating the presents in my previous comment. Those are a lot of variables that you have there. So is operation Christmas only giving out presents to Christians. (serious question I don’t know) If so seems kind of jacked up. You can still have Christmas without the spirituality tied to it. And I am sure that they could use School supplies, clothes, and hygiene products as well. It would reflect positivly on Christians if they where to just send things out there regardless of the faith of the people they are helping but just doing it because love your neighbor and all that jazz.

Also, Check out Qur’an Jesus sometime. He didn’t get to be the Messiah but what he lacks in holy divinity he makes up for with super powers complete with laser eyes, betting people up as soon as he comes out of the womb, and killing the Anti-Christ. Also Marry his mum gets her own book as well in the Qur’an.

I respect all religions and you are correct that the bible doesn’t say that, but as Obama says that the bible says people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. I like that you are donating presents to children in the middle east, but don’t tell people that it will be the first Christmas present these children get because they have been dealing with ISIS their whole life. It will be the first because they do not celebrate Christmas. Now with that being said their are hybrid Islamic religions that do practice this because they wanted to fit in, in America. They Celebrate the Christmas holiday as any other agnostic or atheist person does they put up a tree and they give out presents but never touch on the spiritual side of things. This is not the take in the middle east. In the Qur’an, there are many stories about the life and teachings of Jesus Christ (called ‘Isa in Arabic). The Qur’an recalls his miraculous birth, his teachings, the miracles he performed by God’s permission, and his life as a respected prophet of God. Muslims believe in the virgin birth of Jesus, but do not mark the occasion as a holiday. Nevertheless, Muslims respect Jesus as a righteous prophet of God. (Substituted Allah for God for Arabic – English Translation… Though I do view the Qur’an and the Bible as pretty much the same book with different interpretations…)
