Left Behind With Nicolas Cage Is Out October 3rd, Are You Ready?

The reboot of Left Behind releases in theaters October 3rd. Will it be better than the original film with Kirk Cameron that released way back in 2000? I believe so based off of the casting (which includes Nicolas Cage), budget, and the fact that the writers saw it and actually approve of this film unlike the previous three. The full official trailer released today and now I am more stoked than ever for this film. Now I am praying it won’t turn out like that disgrace of a film, Noah.
What do you think? Did you see the old films? Does this reboot look promising?

I’m so glad it’s Nick Cage and not Kirk Cameron. So yeah I’m excited!

It’s terribly difficult for me to reconcile Nick Cage’s face and voice with this story. It feels like he doesn’t even belong there. But I guess that’s how a lot of people feel when they see remakes of films they grew up with. 😉 Theology disagreements aside, I’m very curious to see this film.

I think the fact that the writers approve of it and it only focuses on the actual Rapture part of the book will make the film good. The original one with Kirk Cameron was far too short. They tried to cover a 400 page book with only an hour and a half of movie.
